Junior Project Manager - Physical Goods [Germany]

In this role, you will be part of the product- and project management team. You will support the development and industrialization of new products and product variants from the start to the launch in different regions and channels. Mainly, you will be responsible for maintaining timelines and taking care of several milestone deliverables in close exchange with the Engineering, Product Design, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams to deliver products on time and in quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You plan and lead the product development process. This includes the creation and maintenance of project plans, the organization of product team meetings, preparation of milestone approvals and creation of status reports
  • You report defined KPI´s, such as project status, project cost, resource status which provide transparency on the operational status, business impact and potential as well as technical perspective and shortcomings.
  • You participate in the definition of customer and product requirements, identification of new product solutions, and determination of feasibility, scoping and business impact.
  • You participate in the development of decision templates for selected product groups for defining and further developing the portfolio according to specifications of the product strategy of the management.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • You love developing products, and you understand the challenges that can be part of the product life cycles.
  • You care about the teams and colleagues you work with and want to see them succeed.
  • You have a degree in economics, business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field of study.
  • You have great interest and talent in the coordination of international and interdisciplinary teams.
  • You are detail-oriented with excellent time management skills and you find it easy to identify priorities.
  • You have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • You have excellent communication skills; both written and spoken
  • You have need of extensive social, professional, methodological, and entrepreneurial skills.
