We are currently seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals with a keen interest in herbalism to join our team as Shop Assistants. Position: Shop Assistant
Rate: $18-24/hour
Responsibilities:
- Develop a thorough understanding of our wide range of herbalism products, including elixirs, teas, tonics, and natural remedies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting and guiding customers in finding the right herbs, remedies, and supplements to meet their individual needs and goals.
- Utilize your barista skills to prepare and serve custom herbal drinks and beverages, ensuring a delightful and personalized experience for customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop, restocking products, and creating attractive displays that showcase our offerings.
- Collaborate with the team to develop informative signage and captivating displays that educate customers about the benefits of herbalism.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in herbalism, enabling you to provide accurate information and make appropriate recommendations to customers.
- Work closely with colleagues to contribute to the overall success and growth of the apothecary.
Requirements:
- Genuine interest in herbalism and holistic health practices.
- Previous experience as a barista is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide friendly and knowledgeable customer assistance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate inventory management and appealing product displays.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
