Job Description for Safety Inspector
- Strictly make sure that all workers must adhere to when using manufacturing equipment to avoid any accidents.
- Keep up with and implement all safety and health regulations, including those you establish, those that are already in place, and regulations that are imposed by the state and federal governments.
- Establish a district-level safety code in cooperation with safety Officer and Manager.
- Share information with management, outside safety agencies, and staff, and give prompt, precise directions and critical information.
- Oversee on a daily basis to ensure all manufacturing employees follow safety procedures precisely.
- Create documents that outline all safety policies so that manufacturing workers and management can easily understand them.
- Complete administrative tasks such as filling out safety reports, collaborating with management, and compiling information about accidents as they occur in order to prevent similar incidents in the future.
- Assist in safety training to ensure that all employees fully understand the safety procedures that must be followed, taking steps to make the information engaging and interesting.
Job Requirement
- Must have Certificate of NEBOSH
- Bachelors Degree Required
Require at least 3-4 years of experience as Safety Inspector in Abu Dhabi and Manufacturing
- Prefer having experience in Chemical Plants
- Previous experiences executing Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Chemical Feasibility Studies, Conceptual Design/Basic Engineering & FEED / Detailed Engineering
- Previous experience managing HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, hazardous area classification, firewater systems, fire and gas detection
- Minimum 5 years of proven capability in engineering consultancy/design company
- Good communication skills and relationship building skills
- Applicant must be in UAE.
