As a Product Manager, you’ll be part of a new data venture of BrightWolves and work in a supportive, unique environment.We are building a strong team of data, solution and software engineers to support our growth in the areas of sustainability analytics, data integration systems and advanced analytics. We are looking for a Product Manager to join our team as soon as possible with a first mission to accelerate the development of an ambitious sustainability analytics project. Among other projects, you will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the engineering and the development of a new application aimed at assessing the impact of industrial activities on the environment. You’ll also ensure that the system operates optimally when deployed at our clients.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
- You will be responsible for one or more projects.
- You will stretch your problem-solving skills in a demanding environment, while receiving outstanding coaching from senior engineers.
- You will meet with clients to discuss their software needs and liaise with our software engineers.
- You will co-create the architecture of the applications, and you will be responsible for its implementation (including the user interface).
- You will test and deploy the applications at our clients, and provide post-installation follow-ups
- You will ensure the continuous improvements and maintenance of the applications.
- You will develop relationships and maintain customer relations.
YOUR PROFILE
- Familiarity with software systems and ability to create big picture software solutions.
- Recently graduate from an engineering school in computer science or a related field (Master or PhD).
- 0-5 years’ professional experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to present ideas in a clean and user-friendly way.
- Outstanding academic credentials.
- Creative and self-propelling.
- Ready to learn fast and be challenged every day.
- Ready to work in a fast-paced, demanding, and supportive environment.
- An understanding of web frameworks (such as Flask), and dashboard packages (such as Dash).
- Willingness to work in Belgium
- Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French
